Dancing Giants

Within arrhythmic bouncing lives pure joy

We who have learned languid limits and caustic inhibitions

No longer know this joy

As we parade through conformity

Trying to impose our patterns

On Tiny Giants that dance

Sometimes to our songs

Sometimes to their own

Never caring which emerges

And always laughing at us

About Mitchell Brown

I am a stay at home dad with my two daughters who are a lot stronger than they look. When I'm not cooking, cleaning, dancing, reading, teaching, playing or protecting my eyes and groin, I am writing about this whole experience in all of its ridiculousness.

Easy to see your inspiration in the girls for you in this presentation. Pure Joy, tiny giants. laughing at us… all the way. Wonderful to recognize and appreciate. I miss. Really miss.

Thanks for the smile today! That is quite beautiful! You could print this poem up and frame it with a photo of your Tiny Giants dancing. 🙂

  3. Allen (The Non-Chef Pop) Brown says:

Really good. Eric Bres. said today, at a B & G meeting, he is enjoying your postings and your terrific writing. He mentioned that he should have been looking over your shoulder in English.

I think “Dawn” has a great idea.
